Naval cadets on board HMS 'Britannia', Dartmouth, Devon, 1895 (1896). Launched in 1860, the battleship HMS 'Prince of Wales' was renamed 'Britannia' and converted into a cadet training ship at Dartmouth in 1869. She continued to fulfil this role until 1905.
