Administration Building, Rice Institute, Houston, Texas, USA, 1936. Vintage postcard. Opened in 1912, the Rice Institute was renamed Rice University in 1960. It was funded by an endowment left in the will of William Marsh Rice, a prominent Houston businessman. The Administration Building was the first building on the university's campus to be built.
