Nicollet Hotel, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, 1910.
Nicollet Hotel, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, 1910. Vintage postcard showing the exterior of the hotel and the surrounding streets. Horse-drawn vehicles are parked on the street. The Northern Pacific Railroad office is on the first floor of the hotel. The hotel opened in 1871 and Oscar Wilde apparently spent a night there in 1882. It was demolished in 1923 and replaced by a much larger, 11-storey hotel.
