Hitler's deputy, Rudolf Hess (1894-1987), is immediately behind him. The Nazis 7th Party Congress was named the 'Rally of Freedom' in celebration of Germany's liberation form the Treaty of Versailles epitomised by the Nazis' reintroduction of compulsory military service.
