Royal Doulton 'Morrisian' ware jug, 1900-1924. Artist: Royal Doulton
Royal Doulton 'Morrisian' ware jug, 1900-1924. Royal Doulton manufactured their extravagant Morrisian wares in limited numbers at their Burslem factory between 1900 and 1924. Highlighted in gold, their shapes and borders followed the designs of William Morris, after whom they were named. They were decorated with golfers in fanciful 17th century costumes in the manner of the American artist Will Bradley.
