Brigadier-General Cadogan's Horse forcing the French Line, Battle of Elixheim, 18th July 1705. Fought in Brabant in modern Belgium, Elixheim was a battle in the War of the Spanish Succession. Also known as the Passage of the Lines of Brabant, the engagement saw Marlborough's British and allied forces break through the line of French defensive fieldworks that stretched from Antwerp to Namur.
