'The second fight between Bendigo and Ben Caunt', 1838 (late 19th or early 20th century). William 'Bendigo' Thompson (1811-1880) and Ben Caunt (1815-1861) fought three times between 1835 and 1845. In this, their second bout, Caunt won in the 75th round when Thompson committed a foul by going to the floor without being hit. Caunt claimed the English heavyweight championship, but Thompson would reclaim it in their third fight seven years later.
