Jack Doyle, Irish boxer, 1938. Nicknamed the 'Gorgeous Gael', Doyle (1913-1978) fought Jack Petersen for the British heavyweight title in 1933, but was disqualified for low punches. After his boxing career ended, with a record on 17 wins and 6 losses, he became a Hollywood actor and was also an accomplished tenor singer. A Churchman's Cigarettes picture card.
