Sir Charles Napier's victory off Cape St Vincent, 5 July 1833 (c1857). Napier (1786-1860) fought the battle while in the Portuguese service under Admiral de Ponza. Ships involved in the battle are (left to right): 'Don Pedro' 48 guns; 'Rainha de Portugal', frigate, flag of Napier, 46 guns; 'Rainha', 72 guns; 'Don Joao VI', flag, 74 guns; 'Prince Sa Real', 22 guns; 'Dona Maria Isabell', 24 guns.
