Cunard Line steamship RMS 'Franconia', c1923-c1939. Postcard posted in 1971. The 'Franconia' was built by John Brown & Co at Clydebank, Scotland, making her maiden voyage in 1923. She served as a troopship in World War II. She was retired from service and scrapped in 1956.
