'Religious Tract Society's Repository, Paternoster Row, London', 19th century. Founded in 1799, the Religious Tract Society was a major British publisher of evangelical Christian literature. It also published the Boy's Own Paper and the Girl's Own Paper. In 1935 it merged with the Christian Literature Society for India and Africa to form the United Society for Christian Literature (USCL).
