Prince Coburg, famous German general of the Holy Roman Empire. Prince Josias of Coburg (1737-1815) fought in the Austrian army in the Seven Years War, the Russo-Turkish-Austrian War of 1788 and in the Austrian Netherlands in the French Revolutionary Wars. His career ended after he was defeated at the Battle of Fleurus in 1794, which caused Austria to lose the Netherlands to France.
