The Palladian Bridge at Stowe, Buckinghamshire, 1928. Covered bridge over the Upper River at the famous stately home of Stowe. The grounds were landscaped from 1713, with schemes by Bridgeman, William Kent and Capability Brown. This bridge, erected in 1738, is thought to be by James Gibbs. A public school was founded here in 1923.
