Disused church, Kent, 1970.
Disused church, Kent, 1970. Redundant Norman church at Paddlesworth, Snodland, Kent, now in use as a barn. It has been altered for agricultural use by the insertion of a tall cart entrance. Further ramshackle agricultural buildings abutt onto the west end of the former nave, the roofing in need of repair. Beyond is a figure with horses in the field, and in the distance smoke or steam pours from a factory chimney.
