West Blatchington Windmill and barns, East Sussex, before 1936. The mill and farm buildings photographed prior to 1936 when the barns were destroyed by fire. In the centre is a cart, with haystacks on either side. The smock mill was built around 1724 and continued in operation until 1900. In 1825 it was the subject of a painting by Constable.
