Empty shell of the north side of inner courtyard at Kirby Hall, Gretton, Northamptonshire, 1925. The Hall was begun in the 1570s, and altered 1640. By 1889 the roof was collapsing. Note the combination of classical style with Renaissance ornament on the pilasters.
