Stained glass roundel from Eltham Palace, London, 1999. Artist: J Bailey
Stained glass roundel from Eltham Palace, London, 1999. The Great Hall of Eltham Palace survives from the royal palace built for Edward IV in the 1470s. It was extended in the 1930s to create a country house. Stained glass roundels depicting the emblems of past owners were made for the Great Hall by Kruger Gray. The sun represents Edward IV.
