Great Hall at Hampton Court Palace, Richmond upon Thames, London, 1890, built for Henry VIII in 1523-24 to replace Cardinal Wolsey's hall. The tapestries are of a similar period. The painted hammerbeam roof has ornately carved pendants. Above the tapestries, the walls are lined with stags' heads.
