Ford Cortina Mk 2 and Mk3 GT in a garage being serviced/modified, 1972. The Mk 2 was produced from 1966-1970 with the best remembered being the 1600E which was launched in 1968. 2 and 4 door saloons and a 5 door estate were offered with base, Deluxe, Super, GTand later 1600E trim available. The Mk 3 was produced from 1970-1976 and was popular with fleet buyers. 1960s and 1970s rust problems mean that few remain with the Mk 1600E being the most sought after.
