'Self-portrait', 1925. Pavel Nikolayevich Filonov (1883-1941) was a Russian avant-garde painter, draughtsman and graphic artist. He died of starvation during the Nazi siege of Leningrad. Found in the collection of the State Russian Museum, St Petersburg.
