Launch of HMS 'Trafalgar', Woolwich Royal Dockyard, Kent, 1841. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were among those attending the ceremony, which was watched by an estimated 500,000 people. 'Trafalgar' was a 120 gun first rate ship of the line.
