Second Shots: Casual Talks about Golf, 1930.
Second Shots: Casual Talks about Golf, 1930. Two versions with different dust-covers of a book by Bernard Darwin. The yellow cover is said to have been illustrated by Darwin's wife, Elinor Monsell, and Darwin is the figure peeping out of the bottom right-hand corner. The grandson of the naturalist Charles Darwin, Bernard was the foremost golf writer of his day as well as a golfer good enough to compete in international golf matches.
