Radway Tower, Edge Hill, Warwickshire, 1924-1926. This octagonal tower was begun in 1742 to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the Battle of Edgehill, the first major battle of the English Civil War. It was built by Sanderson Miller, an architect who lived in nearby Radway. A photo from Hutchinson's Britain Beautiful, edited by Walter Hutchinson, Volume 4, 1924-1926.
