The Oxford Arms, Warwick Lane, City of London, 1875.
The Oxford Arms, Warwick Lane, City of London, 1875. A view of the Oxford Arms, a galleried coaching inn, from the neighbouring Old Bailey. The inn was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London in 1666. With the advent of the railways, many coaching inns declined. The Oxford Arms was recorded prior to its demolition in 1878.
