Coit Tower, Telegraph Hill, San Francisco, California, 1957. Vintage postcard showing the Coit Tower and the surrounding grounds. The 210 foot high reinforced concrete Art Deco tower was built in 1933 at the bequest of Lillie Hitchcock Coit, a famous San Francisco volunteer firefighter. The architects were Arthur Brown Jr and Henry Howard.
