New US Mint, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, 1914. Vintage postcard showing the exterior of the US Mint located at 17th and Garden Streets and built from Maine granite. The building, the third to house the Philadelphia branch of the US Mint, was designed by James Knox Taylor and was completed in 1901. It was replaced by a new building in 1969 and today houses the Community College of Philadelphia.
