The Engine House, c1945-c1955. Artist: SW Rawlings
The Engine House, c1945-c1955, formerly in Granby Road, Northfleet, has since been demolished. Built to house a stationary steam engine to haul trucks for the brick field, it was subsequently converted as a cottage. The cranes of Tilbury Dock, Essex, can be seen in the background across the River Thames.
