Green dragon dish, Guangxu period, Qing dynasty, China, 1875-1908. A green imperial dragon dish decorated on the front with a green five-clawed fragon chasing flaming pearl. There is a green glazed ring between black lines around the central medallion and the rim. The reverse has two similar dragons, each chasing a pearl on a bed of incised stylised waves, beneath a similar green glazed ring by outer rim. There is a Guangxu mark on the base and the piece is of the period.
