Green and aubergine dragons on yellow ground saucer, Guangxu period, Qing dynasty, China, 1875-1908. A yellow glazed ground saucer decorated with green and aubergine imperial dragons. Both dragons are chasing a single flaming pearl in the centre of the saucer contained within a double black/aubergine lined medallion with a single similar line near the rim. The reverse has four storks in flight alternating with stylised clouds in green under a single black/aubergine line near the rim. There is a Guangxu mark on the base and the piece is of the period.
