Green and aubergine dragon saucer, Guangxu period, Qing dynasty, China, 1875-1908. A saucer with green and aubergine imperial five-clawed dragons on imperial yellow glazed ground. The dragons are chasing one flaming pearl in the centre amid stylised clouds in an aubergine line bordered medallion. The reverse has four storks alternating with stylised clouds in green on imperial yellow ground. The base has a six character kaishu mark of Guangxu and the piece is of the period.
