Soft paste famille verte brush pot, middle period, Qing Dynasty, Kangxi, China, 1683-1700. A soft paste famille verte hexagonal brushpot of basically square shape with parred corners. The piece is decorated with mountain landscapes on the main panels and diaper patterns on the smaller corner panels. The palette uses very little blue.
