Painted pottery male dancing figure, early Eastern Han dynasty, 1st century. A grey pottery male figure with small black cap in dancing posture. He wears a long robe, which covers him down to his feet except for the tip of his left shoe. The robe is painted with white pigment while the collar is painted red. The eyebrows and eyes are highlighted in black and the lips in red.
