Blue and white leys jar, Qing dynasty, Daoguang period, China, 1821-1850. Small leys jar with tall flaring neck of chatou shape. The jar is painted with alternating bands of pendants, floral scrolls, key frets, overlapping ruyi heads and classic scrolls. The base has a six-character Daoguang seal mark and the piece is of the period.
