The body is decorated in wucai enamels with dragons over waves chasing flaming pearls. There is a band of ruyi heads around the base of the spout. The base has a single lingzhi fungus mark in underglaze blue. The kendi shape was a popular export item for centuries with destinations all over the Muslim world.
