Bowl with Indian lotus decoration, Qing dynasty, Kangxi period, China, 1662-1722. Large blue and white bowl painted in the centre with a large single lotus flower and scrolling leaves. The exterior has a similar wide band of scrolling Indian lotus flowers and leaves above a narrow band of overlapping flame shapes. The base has a six-character Kangxi mark and the piece is of the period.
