Qingbai bowl, Northern Song, China, 960-1127. U-shaped Qingbai bowl with a high straight foot. The body is decorated on the exterior only with deeply carved overlapping leaves. The piece is glazed all over with a greenish white glaze that has pooled in the carved recesses. The unglazed base showes traces of the circular kiln support.
