It was the first steel-wire suspension bridge constructed and one of the oldest bridges in the US. In the centre is One World Trade Center or Freedom Tower, designed by David Childs and built 2006-13 and opened 2014, on the site of the World Trade Center which was destroyed in the terrorist attack of 11th September 2001, Manhattan, New York, New York, USA.
