Culloden Battlefield, site of the final Jacobite Rising, when Charles Edward Stuart, or Bonnie Prince Charlie, 1720-88, was defeated by loyalist troops led by the Duke of Cumberland on 16th April 1746, at Culloden, in the Highlands of Scotland.
