Wooden door of the Badr Ghulum House, home of Badr Ghulum Suleiman, a traditional folk doctor and barber who founded his health business here in 1912, in Muharraq, Bahrain. Bad Ghulum Suleiman treated many pearl divers at his clinic, suffering from the effects of prolonged dives at depth. Muharraq is a city on the Pearling Path and with a strong history of pearl diving and pearl trade, where 17 buildings form part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrating the pearl trade.
