Letter from Lord Horatio Nelson to Lady Emma Hamilton, 19th October 1805. Letter from Admiral Nelson written from his ship, the 'Victory', two days before the Battle of Trafalgar to Lady Emma Hamilton, telling her that the enemy's combined fleet are coming out of port and that he hopes to live to finish his letter. With a postscript written on the 20th October, the eve of the battle. The British won, but Nellson was wounded and died soon after.
