Sir Julius Caesar, English judge and politician, (1810). The son of an Italian physician to Mary I and Elizabeth I, Caesar (1557-1636) held several high offices in the reigns of Elizabeth and James I. He was Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1606-1614 and Master of the Rolls from 1614-1636.
