Entries made on the fly-leaf of a copy of The Book of Common Prayer, recording the births of three of his children and the deaths of Rachel Floud, his first wife, 22nd August 1640, and Anne Ken his second wife, 17th April 1662, with a draft of the latter's epitaph in Worcester Cathedral.  The draft differs slightly from the actual epitaph. The latter is preceded by the words. 'Ex terris M.S and the end is added 'Aged 25. Study to be like her.' From the fifth series of Facsimiles of royal, historical, literary and other autographs in the Department of Manuscripts, British Museum: Series I-V, (London, 1899).
