Admiral Sir Richard Collinson, KCB, FRGS, Deputy-Master of Trinity House, 1877. A naval officer and explorer, Collinson commanded HMS 'Enterprise' during the search for the missing Arctic explorer Sir John Franklin. Trinity House is the organisation responsible for the maintenance and operation of lighthouses, lightships and navigational buoys in England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar.
