The 2nd Battalion of the Royal Sussex Regiment, Belfast, Ireland, 1907. Guarding the docks during the dock strike of 1907. The strike, organised by trade unionist James Larkin, saw 10,000 workers stop work and the police refuse to disperse pickets, necessitating the deployment of the army to restore order.
