Truro Cathedral, Cornwall, 2009. Built in the Gothic Revival architectural style, Truro was the first new cathedral to be built in England since Salisbury Cathedral, which was begun in 1220. Construction commenced in 1880 and was completed in 1910. The building was designed by the church architect John Loughborough Pearson.
