Westminster Methodist Hall, London, 2005. The Methodist Central Hall, Westminster, was commissioned as a monument to mark the centenary of the death of the founder of Methodism, John Wesley. In common with all Methodist chapels it was built so as not to resemble a church. The winning design was chosen from 132 anonymously submitted entries in an open competition. The building was completed in 1912.
