The Municipal House, Prague, Czech Republic. Prague's Art Nouveau Municipal House was built in 1905-1911. In 1918 it was the site of the declaration of independence of the state of Czechoslovakia. Today the Municipal House is a venue for festivals and concerts. The semi-circular mosaic above the entrance to the building is by Karel Spillar and is titled 'Homage to Prague'.
