Celadon censer with eight trigrams design, Southern Song dynasty, China, 1127-1279. An unusual three-legged circular incense burner. The sides are slightly sloping out with thickened rim. The legs are of squat short form topped by ram's heads. The body has Pa-kua trigrams in low relief and is covered overall, including the base, with a fine even bluish green thick celadon glaze.
