Yixing stoneware teapot, with mark of Hui Yigong, Qing dynasty, China, 18th century. An Yixing stoneware one-cup teapot of traditional shape, from Chian, Jiangsu province. The clay is of brick-red colour with well patinated orange skin finish. The spout is slightly curved at the end, the level of the spout, mouth and handle are all level. There is no inside filter. The base has a 7 character kai-shu inscription (He Sui? chang bao yigong), by famous potter Hui Yigong.
