Blue and white waterpot with dragons, Vietnam, first half of 15th century. A blue and white waterpot of globular shape from the Chu Dau kiln, with a short neck and lipped rim. The shoulders are painted with two sinuous dragons beneath a collar of ruyi heads. The glaze is finely crackled. The base showing the greyish putty-like body.
